Background and Philosophy
brosandi, bottom of the sky, or more commonly known, by their current name, mayday! mayday! formed in around 2004-2005. Only
a year or so old, and practicing around three to four times a week the band has got off to a good start. With new songs, and
ideas brewing non-stop, Nate (the former of the band, and player of multiple instruments), Kevin Carlson (vocals/piano), and
Kevin Juhr (bass,pianist,guitarist) their future is optomistic.
Their idea is to bring their fans new, soothing music. They are influenced by the genre, and thrive on it. They are majorly
influenced by Sigur Ros, the most successful of ambient bands, which hails from the mysterious, alluring land of Iceland.
